It is the perfect city for students to go who have either already been to Paris, or who would like much of what the capital has to offer, but in a city of a more manageable size. Long-term students will be able to appreciate the lower prices in general with respect to Paris, and the possibility of staying with a host family that is closer to the school. This school also offers the unique possibility of combining a French language course with a wine appreciation course, and there is no better city in France in which to do it. Students will also appreciate the ability to visit the surrounding region of Aquitaine for its historic and cultural beauty, and the ease of getting there from Paris on the train.
