In just the few days that I was there, I heard bagpipes playing on the street, stopped businessmen in kilts for directions, and had haggis served to me at breakfast, confirming that those things are not just stereotypes! I can especially recommend Edinburgh for a vacation study, as there are many things to see and do in a short space of time and place, particularly in August, as the Edinburgh and Fringe Festivals take place that month.
