“I have been working with FLS International schools for about 10 years. It has been a real pleasure to work closely with the vice executive director of the company, Mike La Riccia, for so long in all the aspects of a student’s stay. One of the most notable aspects of the FLS teenage programs is that they have students on them from many different nationalities on them, with no dominating part of the world present in their student bodies . FLS International offers several programs in California, and I have chosen to feature this one for the wide range of ages and courses that if offers. Children as young as 6 can participate with their parents as part of a family program (they will be in a day camp playing with American children, the best way for kids that age to learn English) and older children and teens have a variety of programs from which to choose. For acting and cinema, there is no better city than Los Angeles in which to participate in a summer camp, and very few coastlines in America that are more suited to surfing. Computer science is one of the biggest industries of the state of California. This is also one of the few teenage programs for international children in America in which participants with a high level of English can also choose to not have a formal language course–the Getaway option allows them to take part in the social activities and do volunteer work in place of lessons. Parents will be reassured by the campus setting, which is very secure, and on which their children will be well-monitored and assisted by FLS staff. As a company in general, there has been almost no special request that FLS has not been willing to accommodate in my many years of working with them, for my clients as students or me as agent. All of my students have been very happy in their schools, and have often returned or recommended their friends and relatives to them—I have never had to make any special effort to advertise them.”
