Rennert International offers the programs Academy Plus! and Summer Adventures for teenagers aged 13-17 in New York City. The Academy Plus! program combines English lessons with professional training in Dance or Business and Leadership and an optional add-on actor’s workshop. The Summer Adventures is an immersive program combining English language and American culture. Both programs are all-inclusive and offer exciting activities and excursions so that students truly experience “The City” like a real New Yorker.

Rennert International in New York was the first language school with whom I began working just as soon as Marshall Language Services was founded in 2001, and of the hundreds of students that I have sent there, I have never had anything but positive feedback from parents and students. The Rennert teenage programs in New York were among the first on the market to offer specialized subjects like Art or Sports studies beyond the standard English lessons. The junior program directors understood that many students had done grammar throughout the school year, and wanted to learn by studying and participating in topics that interested them. Both New York Summer Adventures and Academy Plus! programs are particularly appealing for their destination—what teenager doesn’t want to go New York City?! Academy Plus! provides elective options of Dance or Business and Leadership in a city that is the most famous in America for these topics, and two, the sights of New York City of the many excursions that this program offers. Parents will not have to worry about supervision in either of these venues—the Rennert staff has always been extra vigilant in keeping track of their students’ whereabouts on their programs in large cities. If parents desire it, they can also accompany their children on vacation in New York while studying at the Rennert adult school, on either the General English, or as would be more recommendable for their ages, the excellent Professional Programs. There are also a few other schools in New York that can accept much younger siblings on children’s programs. Rennert Academy Plus! Dance
The Rennert Academy Plus! Dance program is an academic and professional training program that provides students with the opportunity to improve their English language skills while taking professional dance lessons at the famous Broadway Dance Center. In class, students receive top-quality English instruction, learn about celebrity choreographers and review dance styles and techniques while choosing from different dance styles including:

- 10 General English lessons per week
- 10 Dance Plus! English lessons per week: innovative English classes with a focus on dance topics
- 6 Dance classes per week at Broadway Dance Center (9 hours)
- 1 full-day excursion and 2 half-day excursion or activity each week

Rennert Academy Plus! Business and Leadership
The Rennert Academy Plus! Business and Leadership program is an academic and professional training program that provides students the opportunity to improve their English language skills while pursuing a passion for business, leadership and innovation. The Business and Leadership Academy offers lessons on:

Rennert English Summer Adventures
Rennert English Summer Adventures is an immersive program combining General English lessons and rotating New York City themed lessons that include topics such as The Birth of Hip Hop, The Evolution of Media, and NYC Neighborhoods: Food and Culture.

Add-On Acting Workshop
This is an optional add-on workshop that will cover all aspects of a Broadway actor’s life and will give students the chance to observe a professional Acting Studio Workshop led by Tom Todoroff at the Tom Todoroff Studio in Manhattan. A world-renowned acting coach, Tom Todoroff has guided professional actors like Samuel L. Jackson and Liam Neeson through specially-designed exercises to improve their acting for theater, film, and television.
RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION
The Rennert Summer programs in New York City include residential accommodation at the 1760 Residence. Students will be placed in air-conditioned double or triple en-suite rooms with a microwave, refrigerator and cable TV. The residence also features gym facilities, kitchen, tablet lounge, free Wi-Fi, laundry room, weekly cleaning service and 24 hour front door security.
Meals
Residential accommodation includes full board meal plan on weekdays and half board on the weekend.
Laundry
Bed linen and towels are provided. Cleaning is provided twice a week.
Insurance
Insurance covering medical and travel assistance, personal liability and trip cancellation is not included in the price of the program. Marshall Language Services has a policy available through Guard.Me that covers these elements, as well as an additional policy through CareMed that covers cancellation under a wider range of circumstances, including the need to repeat school exams. New York is an all-inclusive language program for teenagers aged 13-17 combining English language courses with optional electives in Broadway and Performance Arts, Fashion, University Bound and American Sports. The Summer Plus!
