CLIC is a Spanish language school located in the coastal city of Cadiz in Spain, famous for its history and golden sandy beaches. CLIC Cadiz, a member of the International House World Organization (IHWO) for quality Spanish teaching, offers teenagers aged 13-17 an excellent spring and summer program combining Spanish language lessons with activities and excursions in a warm and relaxed atmosphere where students can not only learn Spanish but also make the most of their summer experiencing the Spanish way of life. The school also offers an International English Summer Camp.
Cadiz, located on the southwestern edge of Spain, is an ancient harbour city that was once one of Europe’s greatest ports. It is a part of Spain’s Andalusian region and is situated on a long, narrow peninsula surrounded by the sea.
People have been living in Cádiz for more than 3000 years, making it one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe. Traces of the city’s former inhabitants, which include the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and North African Muslims, can be found in a walk through the old town. The center of the city also offers more recent landmarks and architectural masterpieces dating back to the 17th century. Additionally, Cádiz has a fascinating gastronomical tradition, and is particularly famous for its ancient tuna almadrabas and sherry wines.
Cádiz is the gateway to Jerez de la Frontera and the great Moorish city of Seville, and lies on the doorstep of the Doñana National Park, which is one of Europe’s last great stretches of wilderness.

Student Welfare
On the campus, there is a dedicated office and staff for student welfare. School staff will provide 24-hour supervision in the student residence.
Airport Transfers
Transfers to and from Jerez, Seville and Malaga airports can be arranged at an additional cost. Arrivals and departures must be on Sundays. Marshall Language Services will need to furnish the participant’s flight information to CLIC Cadiz so that the airport transfers can be organized. Parents will receive detailed instructions on what the student should do when their flight arrives. It is also possible for parents to accompany their children to the campus personally.

Spanish Language Program (Homestay or Residential)
The CLIC Cadiz Spanish Language Summer Program for teenagers aged 13-17 offers a total immersion in Spanish life, culture and language. The Spanish language lessons are available to learners of all levels and take place in the mornings.

Spanish at the Teacher’s Home
The Spanish at the Teacher’s Home course allows students aged 12-17 to live and learn in a Spanish teacher’s home providing complete immersion in Spanish language and culture. Each teacher is able to host a maximum of one or two students. The program includes 20 private Spanish lessons per week, a single or double room, a full board meal plan and return airport transfers to Jerez Airport, or others upon request.
International English Summer Camp (Residential)
The International English Summer Camp for teenagers aged 13-17 combines English language tuition with activities and excursions. The English language lessons are available to learners of all levels and take place in the mornings.

HOMESTAY ACCOMMODATION
CLIC Cadiz offers students on the Spanish language course the choice to be totally integrated into Spanish life by staying with a carefully chosen host family located at a maximum 20-minute walking distance to the school. Homestay accommodation includes twin or triple bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities.

Homestay accommodation includes a full board meal plan (breakfast, lunch and dinner.)
Laundry
Bed linen and towels will be provided. Weekly cleaning is included.
RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION (Summer Camps only)
CLIC Cadiz offers a summer residence in the heart of the historic city. The building combines a traditional Andalusian patio with a modern, ample study center and well-appointed kitchen-dining room. Residential accommodation includes individual or twin bedrooms with en-suite bathroom facilities.
