College Champittet, a prestigious boarding school located in the Lake Geneva area of Switzerland, offers a unique Summer Leadership Camp for children and teenagers aged 11-17, conducted entirely in English. The program focuses on developing leadership skills through workshops and outdoor activities and excursions. From etiquette courses to ice climbing, ballroom dancing to media training, rock climbing and canyoning, the Leadership Camp is truly a camp for everyone.
Lausanne is a city on Lake Geneva, in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland. It’s home to the International Olympic Committee headquarters, as well as the Olympic Museum and lakeshore Olympic Park. Away from the lake, the hilly old city has medieval, shop-lined streets and a 12th-century Gothic cathedral with an ornate facade. The 19th-century Palais de Rumine houses fine art and science museums.

Student Welfare
On the campus, there is a dedicated office and staff providing student welfare. An emergency telephone is available 24/7.
Airport Transfers
Airport transfers to and from Geneva airport are included in the cost of the program. To organize the transfers, Marshall Language Services will need to furnish the participant’s flight information to Champittet Summer Camp. If children are travelling as unaccompanied minors, Champittet Summer Camp staff will receive them from the airline personnel, and when the program is over, accompany the participants back to the airport and hand over the children to airline staff.

COURSE CONTENT AND SAMPLE TIMETABLES
Summer Leadership Course
Champittet offers an excellent Summer Leadership Course for students aged 11-17, with savoir vivre lessons, first aid workshops, enjoyable challenges and outdoor activities, while providing opportunities to develop communication skills, goal setting and time and stress management techniques. The program is entirely held in English and students with lower levels of English have the option of taking English lessons (30 hours) for half of the program in the third session.

RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION
Champittet Summer Camp students are boarded in the Champittet College boarding houses in twin rooms. There is a shared living room providing a relaxing communal space.
Meals
Accommodation includes a full-board meal plan (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Laundry
Bed sheets are provided. Laundry service is not included.
