Españolé International House Valencia is a language school located in Valencia, Spain, offering Spanish courses of the highest quality. The school is set in a historical building in the city center, surrounded by shops, historical sites and the energetic Spanish city life. Españolé offers a summer camp program for teenagers aged 14-17 which combines Spanish language lessons with activities and excursions in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, where students can not only learn Spanish but also make the most of their summer experience in the beautiful city of Valencia.
A worthy rival to Madrid and Barcelona, Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and one of the most important in the Mediterranean. Until a few years ago, it was a place visited only by the most seasoned travelers, but after the America’s Cup, Valencia became famous all over the world, with apparent results on the architecture, organization of the city, and the number of tourists. As was the case for the Olympic Games in Barcelona, this event also gave new life to Valencia, creating a mix of creativity and energy that contributed to the Valencian explosión.

Españolé – IH Valencia Summer Camp: Carrer dels Cavallers, 36, 46001 València, Valencia, Spain
“I first met the owner Cristina Navarro many years ago through an International House event, and visited the school on a trip to Spain in 2006. Españole as it is currently known was founded in 2006, but Cristina was formerly the director of a well known language school in Valencia for a number of years. That school was later sold to a large chain of Spanish language schools, and soon afterwards, Cristina left to found Españole after she saw the quality of that school dropping for the masses of students sent to it through a vast marketing network. Based on her track record of providing quality courses at the previous school, she was able to obtain the International House affiliation quickly for her own school, a recognition that would have otherwise been unusual in such a short space of time. It is just for this sort of thing that I very much favor International House schools when selecting which ones with whom to work in a particular city. Valencia itself is also beautiful as a city. It is not as large as the capital, but as the third city in Spain, there are plenty of things to do. All year long, it hosts a variety of traditional Spanish festivals, and in recent years, has become an important tourist destination in Europe for its now-iconic city of Arts and Sciences, its Formula One racing circuit, and the many flights going there directly from major cities.”
