Located in the heart of Boston, FLS Boston Commons Junior camps offer a fun and stimulating combination of English language courses along with sightseeing, sports and subjects such as basketball, photography, TOEFL preparation and more.
Boston is a fantastic city for students of all nationalities. In the countryside of New England, through historical locations and quaint towns, everyday life runs at a slower pace than that of other American cities, and its people are more relaxed and friendly. The student will quickly become familiar with the city, will socialize with both its residents and the students attending its more than 60 colleges and universities, and will appreciate a lifestyle that is typically American.

FLS Boston Commons Specialty Tours: Fisher College, 118 Beacon St, 02116 Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America
“I have been working with FLS International schools for about 10 years. It has been a real pleasure to work closely with the vice executive director of the company, Mike La Riccia, for so long in all the aspects of a student’s stay. In a city with junior and teenage programs that are overrun by large groups of Italian students, FLS schools have students from many nationalities, with no dominating part of the world. The aspect that students (and I) like best about the FLS International Specialty Tour in Boston is the possibility for students to have their classes and stay in a small college in the very best part of the center of Boston. Older teenagers like to be able to walk outside of the college in their free time to go the shops and cafés in Newbury Street and the touristic Back Bay with their group leaders, and their parents don’t have to worry about their safety in that part of the city. Most other junior and teenage programs in Boston are held on college campuses that are not as central, so the students have to rely on their leaders to bus them in to the center only a few times a week. Moreover, Fisher College is not used by the other language schools in Boston, and there are also American students on summer programs staying there, so FLS students have the opportunity to make friends with native speakers of a similar age. FLS Boston is a fairly small program, allowing students to experience an extraordinary level of care and personal attention, but large enough for them to make many new friends. There are also a good selection of programs–the classic Boston Summer program that is packed with high-quality activities and a two-day trip to New York if the students desire it, or other programs suited to their particular interests like photography or basketball. As a company in general, there has been almost no special request that FLS has not been willing to accommodate in many years of working with them, for my clients as students or me as agent. All of my students have been very happy in their schools, and have often returned or recommended their friends and relatives to them—I have never had to make any special effort to advertise them.”
