LAL offers an excellent Summer School program for juniors aged 12 to 18 combining language tuition and activities and excursions to discover Florida. Summer in Florida is a whole different experience and Boca Raton, a favorite seaside resort for Americans, offers warm sunshine, safe streets, beautiful beaches and easy access to Orlando, Miami and the Florida Keys.
As a destination for a holiday, Boca Raton, known to locals as “Boca,” truly has it all. Because of its location in the southernmost part of Palm Beach County, in the heart of Florida’s Atlantic Ocean Coast, Boca is considered the gateway to Florida’s “Cultural Capital.” Beautiful beaches and golf courses, resort hotels and wondrous art museums (along with the Festival of the Arts BOCA), jazz clubs and concerts at Mizner Park, and the glittery Town Center at Boca Raton shopping mall with its 220 upscale and elite specialty shops form only a small part of its offerings. Elsewhere around town, there are countless family-owned boutiques and some fine restaurants, among the best in the South of the United States.

Student Welfare
On the campus, there is a dedicated office and staff for student welfare and 24-hour security.
Airport Transfers
Transfers to and from Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports are included in the cost of the programs. Arrivals and departures must be on Sundays. Marshall Language Services will need to furnish the participant’s flight information to LAL Boca Raton so that the airport transfers can be organized. Parents will receive detailed instructions on what the student should do when their flight arrives. It is also possible for parents to accompany their children to the campus personally.

COURSE CONTENT AND SAMPLE TIMETABLES
Classic Summer School
The LAL Boca Raton Classic Summer School program for juniors aged 12 to 18 provides English tuition in the mornings or afternoons, and, in the other half of the day, a cultural, educational or recreational excursion. The program concludes with daily evening activities.

- 15 hours of English lessons per week
- Maximum 15 students per class
- Duration of 1 to 4 weeks
- Progress monitoring
- All educational materials
- Daily afternoon and evening activities
- 1 full-day and 3 half-day excursions per week
- End of course certificate and teacher’s report
Premium Florida Experience
The Premium Florida Experience program includes the Classic Summer School program with additional excursion to Miami in a limousine, dinner at the Hard Rock Café and a full day excursion to NASA Kennedy Space Center. The Florida Experience program is suitable for those who want to have a summer of a lifetime by exploring the very best Florida has to offer.

RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION
LAL Boca Raton Summer School offers a centrally located accommodation building with apartments of 2 to 5 bedrooms. Room will be shared by 2 students and bathrooms shared by a maximum of 5 students. Apartment facilities include a basic kitchen and lounge area.
Meals
Residential accommodation includes a full-board meal plan (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Laundry
Bed linen and towels will be provided and changed once a week. Bedrooms will be cleaned daily on weekdays. Laundry facilities are available onsite.
Student Welfare
All residential accommodation will be staffed overnight by LAL staff and there is access to a 24 hour emergency phone line.
