World Sports Camp, Easthampton, Massachusetts (Ages 8-16)
Founded and operated by the Shand family, World Sports Camp has over a half century of experience working with athletes. World Sports Camp creates a safe and positive sports environment, where athletes from around the world aged 8-16 can interact while improving their athletic skills through positive reinforcement coaching by high level, talented coaches.
World Sports Camp is located at the prestigious Williston Northampton School, in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts.
The 125 acre campus is of an ideal size, large enough to seem expansive yet small enough so that students never feel lost. Elements like a small footbridge that crosses its pond, green lawns at sunset, and a view of the nearly Mount Tom all contribute to the pleasure of daily living and enjoyment of practicing sports at World Sports Camp.
The Williston Northampton School campus recently underwent a 13 million dollar renovation to improve its sports and arts facilities, so that it now rivals any college or sports program in the United States.
Northampton, the town next to Easthampton, in which the Williston School is located, is a city in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts with a picturesque and vibrant downtown, consisting of numerous art galleries, restaurants and quirky shops sprinkled among coffee shops and performing arts venues. It is home to the prestigious Smith College and the Clarke School for the Deaf. Northampton lies only 15 miles north of the City of Springfield, Massachusetts, and is 6 miles west of Amherst, another famous college town.
